Shippigen is a Canadian seaport. Located on the west coast of the Gulf of St. Lawrence in the southeastern part of the country. The maximum draft is 7 meters. The load density of water is 1025. The tidal range is 2.9-1.4 meters. Southwest wind prevails. Pilotage is compulsory, and the pilot boards the ship about 8 kilometers to 16 kilometers outside the port entrance. Correspondence was through Charlotte Radio or Ryan Stone Radio. Port service facilities include: refueling, small boats, medical treatment, fresh water, supplies, and repatriation. There are no ship repair, dry dock, towing, and sewage disposal facilities. The sailing season runs from April to December. The port has two piers: Pier 1 has a berth of 61 meters long and a front water depth of 4.1 meters at low water level; Pier 2 is at the top of the L-shaped embankment, with a berth of 46 meters long and a front water depth of 4 meters.
