Mazatlan is a commercial port in the Pacific Ocean of Mexico. MAZATLAN is located on the east coast of the southern mouth of the Gulf of California in the west of the country, on a small peninsula in the Bay of Olas Altas, protected by two breakwaters. Mazatlan is 1,011 nautical miles from the Port of Los Angeles in the north, 297 nautical miles from the Port of Masanillo in the south, and 870 nautical miles from the Port of Salina Cruz. The entrance channel to Mazatlan is about 70 meters wide and the water depth is 9-11 meters. There are 10 wharves in the port of MAZATLAN, of which the wharf is 981 meters long and the water depth along the sides is 10 meters; the ro-ro ship wharf has 2 berths and the water depth along the sides is up to 10 meters; the oil company wharf is 80 meters long and 38 meters wide. The water depth is 10 meters. The port has fuel oil and fresh water supply, and various ship repairs are carried out. Mazatlan mainly exports metal ores, leather, tobacco, agave fiber, etc.
