Dundee is located in Dundee, Scotland, in the northeastern part of the United Kingdom (full name: THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND). It is located in the south of Dundee and is bordered by the lower reaches of the Tay River in the south. The outlet to the sea, the southwest is adjacent to the northeast side of Tai Bay. It is about 9 nautical miles east from the North Sea. Dundee is mainly a jute export port in northeastern England.
